Beginning Friday, 2 September 2011, The Private Library will resume a normal, albeit greatly reduced, publication schedule. To prevent another recurrence of fried brain cells, we will be reducing our posts from five-days-a-week to one-day-a-week. That one day will be every Friday.
Fortunately, among TPL's readers are a great many folks who are far better writers than your humble blogger. So ... if you want to read something the other six days of the week, why not consider sharing your book collecting interests and enthusiasms with TPL readers via a Guest Editorial.
In preparation for our return, we have begun a systematic review of all the links in the left- and right-hand margins of the page you are viewing. These links, as longtime readers are aware, are The Private Library's foundational raison d'être.
Although we have had to delete some links, and redirect other links to different URLs, most links (thankfully!) appear to be stable. That said, should you be aware of important links that we may have overlooked (about any aspect of book collecting or book history), please email us the relevant link(s): [email protected]
On the last Sunday of next month, we also will once again be contributing a monthly missive to the Fine Books & Collections blog....
